i think the bumps are normal, ive seen posts about them, i cant remember what they are called. But the dryness-- did you have a rash prior to the white flaky skin? i have something similar, but before mine got to the white, dry, flaky part, i had severe red skin and a wet rash. Now it looks like yours does. im thinking i had a yeast infection that got out of control and ended up being a skin rash, or possibly psorasis or dermatitis or something I have a gyno appt next week, and if she cant help, im going to a derm. if you find out what it is, let me know, and ill keep you posted on my results!

I didn't really notice any rash prior to white flaky skin. Does yours itch around the vagina opening or no? Keep me updated!

yes, mine itches around vagina opening, and i have watery discharge almost all the time, , and sometimes yellow discharge, but that comes and goes. i noticed when i itch, ill end up with small papercut like cuts down there but sometimes the cuts appear on their own also. i know paper cut type cuts are a symptom of HSV, but when i had a swab test done (which they swabbed the rash, because there were never any lesions to swab) it came back negative. its the most annoying thing ive ever dealt with! ill definitely keep you posted on my results!

i think paper cut types are more rare with hsv its usually sores and blisters. i have the same, theyre little tears and i usually get them w yeast infecs. i think yeast infecs can make the skin really really dry

i read that too, which made me feel a lot better I honestly think all my issues are coming from an overgrowth of yeast.

will the dryness go away on its own or do I have to treat it? and how long will the yeast infection last?

you could try using a moisturizer on it to see if the dryness goes away, it could just be dry skin. if its a yeast infection, you could try taking a bath with baking soda, or apple cider vinegar, or get stuff from the store for yeast infections, if you dont want to go to dr. sometimes yeast infections can go away, but sometimes you need meds.
