Are you prone to yeast infections ? , but if its pain thats unbearable i think it might be herpes

I would agree with amiyalol. The photo shows a large red spot but also several small ulcerated areas on both sides of the lower vulva. These would be strongly suggestive of genital herpes. You should try and see a doctor for a herpes DNA swab and if they agree that it could be herpes, you should start on aciclovir medication asap.

There's no way of knowing whether it's thrush, herpes or both just by symptoms or appearances. You'll need to see your doctor for some swabs/tests. Otherwise we'd just be guessing what it is and what to advise.

The lesions on your labia are very suggestive of herpes. But you've got to get urgent test to confirm.

i had something similar and it was thrush .. try using coconut oil to see if it clears up . mine cleared up in a day or so after using coconut oil
