This Health Anxiety is getting the best of me. I have felt like I have a lump in my throat for 2 weeks and it feels like my throat is going to close! I can barely sleep and I'm scared to take pills or eat because I think they'll get stuck.. I have constant and I mean CONSTANT chest pains. It's getting so bad that I can barely sleep and i barely leave the house.. I am only 19 and I can't even work because of this. All of my relationships are suffering horribly due to rhis as well.. every time I get a headache I'm so convinced that it is a tumour. I get blurred vision now and then and feel really dizzy. I've had numerous scans and ultrasounds to look for problems but I've come back healthy every time. I don't believe it though.. I feel like I am deathly ill and it's scaring me so much!!! Please help me I don't know who to talk to because everyone just gets sick of hearing about it..

Every symptom you have, I get. It's definitely anxiety, and the only way you can "cure" it is stop fighting against it and learn to live by it. When you have a panic attack, tell yourself it's anxiety and get on with what you're doing. Try doing some Mindful meditation on YouTube, or download the apps Headspace, Mindshift or Pacifica on your phone and do the exercises.

2 months ago I was having daily panic attacks, and even though I'm not 100% I've managed to cope by just carrying on as normal, taking some time out for myself, distracting myself by doing things like playing games or colouring or anything. I've no taken any meds for it either.

It can and will get better, the doctors wouldn't discharge you if there was even the slightest chance there was something wrong because they could be sued for medical negligence, so rest assured that they've thoroughly checked you and are confident that you're fine.

Anxiety can work in weird ways, it tricks you into thinking there's something wrong when there isn't.

Yes, Axiety or reflux/gastritis. Do some deep breathing, it will help.  I was dizzy for many months (12 hours daily) every single day and I started to take biofeedback and eventualy it went away.   Not saying this wil help or this is your problem, but it won't hurt you to try. ;-)   As for people getting sick to hear you, YES....  Family members normally don't understand unless they have the same problem.  Your best friends are forums like this right now but do not google the symptoms or you will not get any better. ;-)   Listen to CD's for anxiety/depression available free on the internet and take at least 30 minutes (maybe 1 hour) daily to do this.  It does help as well. ;-)

Awh that's so very sad sad you're so so young to be feeling this way already! I cannot imagine being that house bound... I know everyone says it, but deep breathing and meditation can really help.. and eat small amounts when u can, they'll feel less likely to get stuck and maybe some ice cream as well to cool it down.. xxx
