Please help me

So I have had symptoms for around 5 years but nothing too bothering, basically my left ear isn't as near as strong as my right ear.

My hearing in my left ear isn't as strong as my right and makes bizarre noises on a day to day basis but has lately gotten a lot worse.

While running for the example, my ear makes a 'thumping nosie' but I can't actually feel anything moving.

When straining lifting/moving things my ear makes an almighty 'swoosh' noise.

The worst one, which has started recently over the past few months is now happening every night, when lying on my bad ear, if I wake up in the middle of the night when I breathe in my ear also feels like it's breathing and also makes very very fast popping noises, as if air is escaping (popping very fast) out at a high pitch and then also air escaping out still popping fast as I breathe back out again.

This makes it uncomfortable for me to sleep as I can only lie on one side when it starts.

I get no pain, which in thankful for but its just aggravating and it's sometimes hard to hear people when facing one way.

But this fast popping air noise is what's making me worried now, has anyone else had or heard anything like this?

Sorry about the big paragraph but it's the best Ivan describe it.

Also when cleaning my ears out the left feels a lot tighter inside then my right.

Thanks everyone

    Hi Dashby,

My ears pops randomly through the day especially my left one.  It feels like someone is letting air out of it and then sounds like a hollowness.  Sometimes just breathing in can pop my ear.  I now also have have a loud motor like sound or vibrating tuning fork like sound in my right ear with hearing distortion in both ears.  Most horrible.  The sound is lower in the morning before talking or hearing any sound. It is effecting my whole life and hard to focus and enjoy everyday sounds, music, TV. The world just sounds wrong. Some doctor say Menieres disease but I have no dizzyness which leads me to believe I don't.  Some doctors say virus but it's going on 3 months  that I have been like this.  Check out Eusthasion Tube Disfuction with your ENT.  May be helpful. I think I have always had this condition but now I have something added to it and much harder to handle.  Good luck.

    Hi Dashby,

Ive had some similar problems the past few years. I had hearing loss in my left ear, ringing, and numerous other problems. You should go to your doctor, and request an ENT specialist.

Hi Dashby you need to have a hearing test and tympanometry, which will tell you if you have something in front of or behind your eardrum that is causing the sound. If this is all clear then you could see an ear specialist.
