Hi, and thank you in advance.

I'm a 35 year old women .

About a year ago I started to have these symptoms:

- ear pressure.

- tongue numbness .

- right cheek numbness.

- fatigue .

All symptoms get worse with a lot of work ( bending over moving around a lot picking up around the house ...)

I saw many doctors and specialists and this is what I did so far:

- CT scan from neurologists discovered a growth in my brain wasn't sure if its a tumour or calcification ..refered me to a neurosurgeon

- cat scan with and without die .. confirmed that it was calcification and said it had nothing to do with my symptoms cause of there location.

These are only the last 2 specialists..I saw many other doctors and nothing .

Once I was prescribed an antibiotic and that made me feel better for about a month and then it came back.

I was given migraine medication and nothing .

I was given gabapentin and imitrex nothing worked.

My symptoms get so bad that i can't function and i need to lay down.

Please help , all ideas r welcome.

Sorry about the long post .

Thank you .

I would ask for a mri of the neck, maybe you have something going on there. Like stenosis, herninated disc, or bulging disc. That can pinch off nerves that effect the face. Or go to a new neurologist for a second opinion.

    Hi Katy,

Sorry you are having so much trouble.

Some of the symptoms relate to what I get, Hemeplegic Migraine and for that I have Botox and Flunarizine which has made a huge difference in my life!

I would suggest though that you request an MRI scan as suggested by Crys this can pick up more things than a CT,  A new neurologist is also a good suggestion.

Good luck Katy and best wishes

Take care and let us know how you get on
