please help, severe sore throat

So my room mate has been sick and turns out to be tonsillitis

(My room mates throat was very swollen and bright red, mine does not seem to be this way).

I went to urgent care because of a brutal sore throat and headache after my room mate was sick and got tested for strep, covid and the flu (did not know my room mate has tonsilittis at the time) . They said that the flu test was positive but the others were negative. Could the flu be mistaken for tonsillitis? If so, I am taking Azithromycin 250mg, will this take care of it? Also I am taking Oseltamivir Pho 75mg as prescribed by the Dr. from the urgent care. I have been feeling this way about 2-3 days and am hoping these meds help me out.
