Please Help! Ulcer on anus. Growing larger over 4 weeks

Posted , 7 users are following.

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to help me. I would appreciate any clues to what this might be since I've never experience anything like this. I am a healthy 26 year old gay male and 4 weeks ago I had what felt like a burning cut (Week1 pic). I tried to take care and seemed like the cut was getting larger, more red and raised a bit. It has been nearly 4 weeks and there is pus (Week 4 pic) and the red raised bumped area seems to be growing instead of healing. I'm not sure if this is an abscess , STI, or worse. Please let me know your thoughts and possible treatment. Thank you

4 weeks if that sore doesn't heal.. you should visit a doctor .. it might be syphilis, chancroid, herpes or any other std.

it looks like SORE to me

this is not VIRAL std i.e not a herpes one ...

please visit a doctor, take a swab on it.. i suspect that it could be bacterial one

As mentioned I began taking Valtrex for 6 days already to combat any herpes and it does not seem to be that. The sore is getting larger and still painful. I cant seem to find the answer to what this is. Thank you all
