hello everyone!

I am 26 years old and start having attacks in october. It is now jan and I still havent recieved any help from my doctor. I have been sent for ultrasounds, blood tests and now have to see a GI. My pain is exactly as some people written on here. It will start with a cramping feeling and my stomach will start making noises then im in the bathroom hunched over crying and screaming in pain. Sometimes im able to go to the bathroom alot and its non stop for hours in and out of the bathroom and sometimes im only going little bits at a time still in and out for hours. Either way the pain is absolutely unbearable. I feel like I am going to die the pain is so bad. It becomes so much I become light headed and dizzy because the pain is so excruciating. I am honestly so scared and looking for anyone who has any ideas to ease the pain because I cant take it anymore its easily the worst pain I have ever had in my life and I have gone though child birth. If anyone has any ideas or help I beg for them. Thank you everyone.

hi Brittany, your doctor is a pain in the backside! you could tackle this 2 ways to get the help you need. try either ringing out of hours, if you are in the UK this is 111, or try writing to or speaking to the surgery manager and explain it to them. if necessary ask to see a different doctor or see your own chemist. if you do go to the toilet is it solid or liquid. i know constipation can cause awful pain as this is what i used to get. if you're in pain now ring the emergency number. i hope you get some help, not funny!

Brittany, Have you tried doing a food exclusion diary? Just pick one type of food you eat everyday and leave it out of your diet for 2 weeks . The most common foods to cause this problem are all dairy foods and Wheat/Gluten. But it could be something like chillies, additives like metabisulphites or even soya .

Try leaving one of these foods out and see what happens. You have to check everything you eat, especially prepared food like ready meals ,cakes, biscuits etc but once you find the culprit food, your life begins to turnaround. I suffered for years like you until I left all dairy foods out of my diet. Now I very rarely have any upsets. Good luck

    Hello !

So I am in the US and to go into an emergency room i risk catching covid because our hospitals are full of covid patients. Also im afraid to leave my house because the pain gets to the point to where I feel like I may pass out. The only way I can bring down the amount of pain I am in to the point of where I dont pass put is I have to sit my self in the bath tub with hot water. I have seen my primary as mentioned but all she did was send me for the blood testing and ultra sound. Now i have a appoint with a GI doctor the end of this month for more testing. I also did try a food map but it doesnt seem that one food has been worst then others along with cutting out gluten and dairy I still have these unbearable flare ups. I will go from constipation from one day to diarrhea the next. Either way i have pain in my stomach but the excruciating pain is when the diarrhea happens. Im unsure what to do anymore i dont wanna eat or anything ! i seen people with IBS had similar problems so i was seeing if maybe thats a possible cause
