Please help - White patches on glans and foreskin

I am hoping someone here can help identify this - I've had these scaly white patches for 6 weeks, they are spreading slowly and seem to flare up and down. It was itchy at first, less so now. I applied Clomitrazole cream for a few weeks but it has not stopped the spread, although it was soothing. I have a long term partner and have not had sex outside that relationship, and we have put our sex life on hold. The doctor has referred me to a dermatologist as he is unsure what it is, but that appointment is in over a month.

can anyone help identify?

    Hi Phil When the antifungal cream has not improved it your doctor is right to refer you on. I think it could be lichen Planus or lichen sclerosus ether way it will need treatment. How long have you to wait to see the dermatologist if its a while go back to your doctor and maybe they can give some steroid cream.
