Please help with what i belive to be irretable bowl

I have had issues with my stomach for years when i eat certain foods such as MacDonald’s, fried foods etc (but ok with KFC?).

I do eat 99% healthily but 3 weeks ago I eat a BBQ and had a few pints and what I should have remembered is the last time I did both together (in July) my stomach wasn't right for a few weeks (bloated, sick feeling etc).

Anyway had to go to the toilet the next day about 4 times (just loose not diarrhoea) the next day I didn't go which is not normal for me and the next it was very watery but still fairly together like a wet covering over the poo, the next few days were all over (diarrhoea, loose) and then it started to go back to normal but what I noticed a fair bit then and still do now is a bit of white mucus as show here today, please see attached image.

Does anyone have any idea why this is there?

I thknk this could be gallstones. I have had them and have recently had my gallbladder removed.

I would have an ultrasound or MRI to check this out.

My gallstones came up on ultrasound but if they are very small then they do not show on this and you need to have MRI. Keep to a lo fat diet for a bit and see what happens.

If this turns out to be gallstones, have your gallbladder removed asap. I feel so much better without it.

    Good luck with all this.

    Take care

thank you for your advice, not sure it is gallbladder as I have always suffered from irritable bowl and don't currently have any other symptoms, could I have just caused my bowl to inflamed with the BBQ and heavy drinking and still be getting a little bit of mucus?

Thanks for replyhing. Not sure sorry. I am not a fan of BBQ food and am not a heavy drinker.

      I suppose it is possible.

Keep off BBQ food and heavy drinking for a bit and see if it settles down.
