Dear Brothers,

I am 32 y male. I diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 6 months ago. Now i'm in remission with having Measacol 2.4 g/ day orally.

I was suffering from ED too. So urologist suggested me to do Doppler test of penile vessel for which I need to take viagra 100 mg once.

Now I am afraid that if Viagra 100 mg once can flare up my Ulcerative colitis????

Brothers do you have experience taking Viagra while having Ulcerative colitis??? It Viagra safe for UC??

Please help me.

    Hi Ramin77653,

    I am afraid I don't have a definitive answer to your question, but I have never heard of this as a 'side effect' of Viagra. Perhaps it would be best to consult your gastroenterologist and get his opinion?  Do you know why you have ED? Presumably the Doppler test is to try to identify the cause?

    Although you still a young man, have you been tested for diabetes? That can lead to ED (as it has in my case). Might it just be worth requesting a test from your GP?

      thanks for reply.

      I dont have diabetics and Doppler test is to find out reason for ED.

      Ah well, it was just a thought.

      I do send you my very best wishes for a successful outcome to your problem, which I imagine must be distressing for you. At my advanced age, my ED is a total irrelevance to my life!! smile
