I don't want to have sex and tell him after and him to be mad with me amy advise would be much appreciated 😊

Tell him...or write him a letter or email.

He has the right to know.

Better tell him rapidely so he doesn'T feel like you kept this information from him. I told my current boyfriend after a few weeks after even thinking I might never tell him. But it's not fair and you better know already what he thinks about this issue. If he's scared and leaves, at least you'll know. That being said, you can tell him without making it sound like big deal. It's a skin condition, and so many people have it, it's not a thing he will never see again, he might even have it without knowing it. Knowing you have it makes you able to prevent any transmission. Etc etc wink Good luck!

I've been having the same situation... I told the guy already and it was fine, but I don't feel comfortable to have something with him and risk to pass it to the other person. I don't even feel comfortable with myself since I got the first breakout.. I feel herpes means a big problem for us because we know already how uncomfortable and painful are the crisis but for someone who never had symptoms they don't take it that serious.. If he loves you he is not gonna run away

Do you even know which type you have? Did you have an outbreak before? I wouldn't email, as you don't want your disclosure in writing and in a format that can be easily linked back to you.

Hi I've got type 2 but haven't had an outbreak now for 4 months we're both attractive to eachother and I just keep putting it off because I feel like I need to tell him first before we do anything

If you have gHSV2 and you hope for this relationship to be serious, then yeah, you should disclose before you get too intimate. At least you are on daily suppressive meds, but use condoms, too, if it gets to that. If this is a recent infection for you, you are potentially more infectious (first year, in particular), just fyi. Good luck!
