Hi all,

I have had hip pain radiating and now it feels like my knee is locking. I have a vs of a torn labrum, and the interventional radiologist said frozen hip. It has become so debilitating that I can't really walk. Ortho surgeon said nothing remarkable in New MRI and he didn't even exam me or do range of motion. Went to e.r. Friday, more steroids and anti inflamattories (staying away from narcotics). I'm 36, have us of multiple inflammatory diseases but no rheum or lupus. Please help! I can't work, take care of my son or walk.

P.s. pain is worst when getting out of car or lifting foot and in groin area, going down thigh.

Thanks thanks thanks

That's awful about your pain and disability! Did your current OS have imaging done, especially x-rays of your hip? If so, is there any indication of osteoarthritis, AVN, labral tear or any problem with the bone?

If I were you, I'd be seeing another orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion, one in a different practice from your current one. He should do a thorough physical exam and have hip x-rays taken. You need a professional to give you an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
