Please please help , slowly dying inside. Withdrawal from beta blockers?

Hello, I'm sorry if this post is going to be long.

I am 26 years old and have had a fast heart rate my whole life. from the ages of 18-25 i was very sedentary. I was over weight and out of shape, suffered anxiety and depression.

my resting heart rate used to be 101 and through out the day it would be between 120-130. obviously higher if i was exercising.

January this year i took myself to the hospital because i was laying in bed and my heart rate was 170. when i arrived they sent me to resuscitation any did lots of tests but couldn't find anything.

they prescribed me a beta blocker and after spending a night in they sent me on my way.

since I've been on the tablets my heart rate has reduced significantly but i spoke to my Dr about coming off them as they were making my hair fall out.

3 days ago was my final Bisopronol and since then my heart rate has been through the roof (higher than before i started the beta blockers) i cant stop crying and im scared to do anything. my partner wanted me to go for a short walk with him to try and help me but my heart rate hit 168 and i didnt feel too anxious at the time either. lying here typing this my heart rate is 117. im so scared, i called a pharmacy and theu basically said my heart rate can cause heart failure. is this withdrawal from the drug? will it pass? I dont want to die yet, im 26.

even just walking to the bathroom my heart rate goes from 110-140.

i have had a 24 hour tape which showed sinus tachycardia and a scan of my heart which structurally was fine.

please help 🙏

sorry you are going through this. Talk to your doctor again. Maybe there’s something else he can prescribe for you that won’t make your hair fall out. Also practice relaxing meditations on YouTube to calm yourself down and hopefully reduce your heart rate. I know it’s difficult to keep it down without medication but give it a try anyway. It might just help for a little while at least. you might have to go back on the beta blocker but your health is the first priority. I see what your doctor has to say.

slow down. Breathe. Meditate. I hope you feel better soon
