Please recommend a soothing cream for my sore anus

I am recovering from a 7 month battle with a fissure and 3 hemorrhoids. The hemorrhoids were banded and are gone. A change in diet and magnesium citrate took care of the fissure (Doc confirmed last week, it's healed). But I feel it's very weak down there, that at the slightest hard stool I will tear it again.

I am very careful not to strain, if it doesn't come out on its own I just move on and try again a few hours later. It always comes out on its own and mushy eventually.

But yesterday I must have been backed up without knowing it as I had 4 bowel movements in the day (And they were no small BM).

My anus got sore after that. What kind of cream can I use to soothe my rear end when this happens?

I don't need a cream for hemorrhoids or fissure just something to soothe.

    i've found that applying bio oil works great for scar tissue and soreness/pain.

    only use if you're completely healed though, don't use it on any open wounds. but seeing as your doc said you are healed, it should be fine for you to use it
