Please respond! Getting scared.

So I have pins and needles constantly in my left hand but sometimes in my right hand and foot and my left foot also. That scares me. I also feel as though there's a balloon in my head that needs to pop! The pressure is awful I feel like my head, ears and eyes are going to explode. I sometimes feel so sick that I feel weak and m going to pass out. Has anyone else suffering from anxiety has this? I've been like this for over 3 months now and 9 days ago I started a new antidepressant .. Sertraline, but Im feeling worse. I don't want to die I'm only 22 sad

what have they diagnosed you with Rihanna? Have they tested your thyroid?

    Hi Rhianna,

It sounds like your body is reacting to Sertraline, some people are not suited to the drug, but I would definately get checked by your GP ASAP.

Some young people have thoughts about suicide when first taking an antidepressant. Your doctor will need to check your progress at regular visits while you are using sertraline. Your family or other caregivers should also be alert to changes in your mood or symptoms.

Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.

    Regards,

    Les.

I wish I was someone with the ability to make a diagnosis when I see people suffering like this.  I hope you will go to a doctor and if he cannot make a diagnosis perhaps he will send you to someone he feels would be competant to deal with your problem.

I wish you lots of luck and best wishes.

Please ask for vitamin b12, folate and ferritin test. Worth checking thyroid and vitamin d too. Look up b12 deficiency neurological symptoms. B12 is often overlooked.
