I was prescribed PPi and domperidone and another 1 called Fixit (cant remember the generic name) to be taken 2x daily before food and 10 ml of liquid gaviscon advanced at bed time. It seemed to work for me

for me Relly the effect was within a matter of days (almost instant in my opinion) and I felt great....could eat and drink normally without any discomfort where as  uptil then I couldnt even eat popcorn at the cinema or have a coke without severe chest pains or if i slumped in my chair the chest pains started. Since I have stopped all meds my symptons have returned with some foods  but are not bad as before.

What symptoms do you get when you eat food your tummy doesn't like? I really struggle to realise when I'm having a reaction!

i get the horrendous chest pains...where all i can do it is take lots of soda bicarb and walk around the room (when at home) when outside like the cinema..or place where i cant drink soda bicarb or start walking around I dont eat those foods i know are my triggers.  I also try and not have big portions ..that also leads to chest pains.
