A lot going on with kay25225. A guess may suggest H.pylori, so suitable antibiotics + PPI's may be indicated. Not all the symptoms are likely to be linked, but it is essential kay25225 has a few tests by her physician to get an idea of what is going on. Don't be tempted to rely on advice given here, seek qualified medical help. Come here to chat about your condition once it has been established what you are dealing with. Good luck.

I have to agree with David. You really need to seek medical help. Have you seen the doctor at all because 9 months is a long time to put up with symptoms like this.sad

I really feel for you but I honestly think I'm not qualified to help and you sound like you're really struggling. You need to go back with this list of symptoms and say that you need some answers as it's far too long to be feeling that poorly. A lot of people here have tried seeing a dietitian and using some natural alternatives but it is essential that you get a proper diagnosis from the doctor first. Ask to be referred to a specialist and wish you well very soon .

Hi Kay, you need to be seen by a gastroenterologist so ask you dr for a referral. Has a stool sample been sent for testing yet? Hope you find an answer soon!

Hello  I am sorry you are going through all this.  I had the Nissen Fundoplication wrap a year ago and doing much better.  I do however have 7 ulcers so taking Aloe Vera Gel you can get at Heath food stores. It is helping to heal my ulcers and continues to help with my Gerd even though it is much better since surgery. The Gel doesn't taste that good but totally worth it.  I would advise anyone struggling with Gerd and or ulcers to try it.  I've read a lot about it and know it has helped many.  Best of luck to all of you.  Lorray

I have had the same problem, and yes the PPI's and other agents like H2 antagonists do have side effects. I would have gone for the magnetic bead solution, but as my oesophagus has low peristaltic activity I'm not a good candidate.

One often has to accept there are no more viable solutions left, so I suck it up. The idea of trusting things like Aloe Vera is rather foolish. Please in the name of reason, stick to things that have good evidence behind them, otherwise you will be trying any number of dumb ass things in vain.

Hi David I hope it all works out for you. I would rather try something like this for a change instead of PPIs for the rest of my life.  I know others it has worked rather well for so we all have choices.  Best of luck to you.
