Yes I also get upper thigh pain and under my buttocks. Thought I would cope with the pain when I knew it wasn't sinister but been terrible the last few days.

    Sounds exactly normal

Sometimes I barely make it to the loo jn time the pain and pressure to Bm is unbearable also and all you have described I can cope with by resting lots NO SITTING just on side lounging or back or standing walking for brief periods for circulation. When I do too much j pay for it later. When I do too little i cant Bm. I was just posting about this. I only had high level 3 rectocele and sounds like you had more done. I hope you are setting times for you meds and have people yo care for you while you do NOTHING that van set you back. I pulled (not popped ) a stitch and luckily it was external and healing ok ...sitting in the car to even get to the OBGYN was agony with a pillow even.

    Hugs and best wishes

Hi dlion momma , haven't had repairs done yet was only diagnosed last wk after taking myself to the hosp for the fourth time ,all previous docs said ibs ,wasn't convinced so went to the gum clinic in desperation. . Had a vaginal internal and doc found both rectocele and cystocele. Very relieved at the time that nothing sinister was going on ,however ,the pain the last couple of days has been excruciating . Have been referred to gynea ,hope not long. Impossible to sleep ,just can't get comfy anywhere.

      Hi Margaret

I had uterus, bladder and bowel prolapse diagnosed last November.  I was unable to sit for more than a couple of hours, I suffered with abdominal, pelvic and vaginal pain and also lower back pain.  I couldn’t drive the car for months and walking more than 20 minutes was painful.  My gynaecologist fitted a pessary but the symptoms continued.  I had a hysterectomy and pelvic repairs in April and am finally feeling back to normal although I am still taking care with what I do these days.  I am sure the consultant will be able to help.

      Take care

You seem to be experiencing the exact same problems as me.....spend most of my time having to lie down with my feet elevated.  Am on waiting list for repair but 10-12 month waiting list in my area, only been on it 2 months. Am considering giving up my job, have missed so much time. Wish you all the best.
