Please tell me it’s going to continue to work

Ive been on Citalopram for 4 years. Started on 10 and have been on various doses 10, 15 and 20 over the years depending on my darn thyroid levels and how bad my anxiety was. For the past year ive been on 20. Citalopram for me was a life saver and by far easier to start and has less side effects for me than Lexapro which i was on for a few years. Well, in November I had to make some thyroid medication adjustments and my anxiety skyrocketed like nothing I've ever experienced before. My doc suggested lowering my Cit to 10 and adding Wellbutrin 150 XL. I made it 9 days on that combo and went back to my 20 of Cit . I expected that it might take a little while to work again because i reduced to 10 for about 12 days but it's been 6 weeks and it's not working! Of course my doc wanted me to increase to 30 so we compromised at 25 two weeks ago and still no improvement in anxiety. Any ideas? Could all the changing around made it ineffective? I'm at a loss.

thanks for any input you care to share.

Here's a time line of the Celexa roller coaster Ive been on lately - 20 mgs (over a year), 10 mgs (12-ish days), 20 mgs ( a week), 30 mgs ( a week), 25 mgs ( almost 3 weeks currently) Will this level out? will it still work?
