well, I feel discomfort in the penis, I feel inflammation, redness, itching and burning when I have erection, glans and foreskin, I feel more in the foreskin, I'm using an antifungal and corticoid ointment for medical indication, because the doctor thought i was balanitis, i was using acyclovir at the same time because i was infected with herpes before and as a precaution i treated it for an episode of herpes, i used antibiotics (azithromycin as single dose and clindamycin for 3 days) and also a single oral dose of fluconazole, with 3 days the symptoms disappeared and I stopped using the ointment, but returned a week ago, my skin of glans and foreskin became dry, flaking and now I continue to use the ointment to lessen the inflammation but I have not been successful. the skin of the foreskin and the glans are very thin, shiny, and it burns when i will do the hygiene with only water, looks like the foreskin is narrowing, I've had these symptoms before and now they come back without even having sex for a long time. Can anyone help me with this?

Roni, the skin towards the top half of your penis does not look healthy at all. You do not make it clear when you first had problems with your penis? You seem to have been dealing with one Doctor for these problems?

What I would suggest is that you need to see a specialist about this if you can. I wonder if you have been to a Sexual Health Center about this as they can refer you to the right specialists to be dealing with this?

The basic medication I would suggest you need is the correct steroid based ointment to help your penile skin to become healthy again, you may also have some infection present, so it is really important that you get the correct combination of medication to be able to deal with both these circumstances.

The best medical specialist you could see id a Dermatologist that deals with Genital Skin Disorders .....

Okay, thanks for getting back to me - glad I could help.

If this has been happening since the beginning of the year then you really need to see a specialist. What you could try is to contact the main Sexual Health Service in the region of the country in which you live, you could phone them and ask how you would get to see a Dermatologist that specialises in Genital Skin Disorders, or your could do an internet search yourself to get the contact number of a specialist near to where you live ....
