    Hi,

I used to be on sertraline and I think the general advice is if you KNOW you've missed a dose, to take one as soon as possible unless its nearly time for your next dose.

However as you aren't sure if you've taken it or not I personally would wait and take it tomorrow. I think the advice is to not double dose.

I know I was accidentally taking a double dose for a while due to a mix up at pharmacy and I was VERY tired.

Do you not have the info leaflet still in the box of tablets, if not this info is usually available online.

I would try not to worry too much about one missed dose, generally it takes more than that to have a noticeable impact.

But like I said I would try and research it online. Another option is to ring your local pharmacy and ask to speak to the pharmacist, they're normally very helpful and knowledgeable about this kind of thing.

    Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I wouldn't take it. Missing one won't make a difference other than maybe a headache the morning of next day. If you take two you risk serotonin syndrome, but that's more likely at high doses or if you're just starting or have just raised your dose. It shouldn't matter too much either way once or twice but if you often forget it's worth labelling the days on the packaging with a biro as they wont be as effective if not taken regularly.

    hi lattifa

count your packet see how many you have already taken, that should give you the answere, taking another wont hurt you if your on 50mg the max they advise is 200mg,

    merry xmas
