I think I have fibromyalgia.

It started off with stiff and painful joints all over my body in the morning then over a year turned into aching legs then over another year turned into heavy legs, stiff legs, twitching, cramping, balance is off from legs being so heavy. My arms feel heavy too. If I stay moving, it's not so bad but once I quit my legs ache. My knees ache all the time. My elbows ache. My lower back aches. My upper back aches. My arm muscles ache sometimes so bad I can't sleep. I get intermittent sharp chest pains. I have horrible brain fog. I was diagnosed with Ménière's but it's atypical and has occurred due to another illness (which is whatever I'm going through now).

I've had CT/MRI of brain that was normal. RA, Lupus, B12 was all normal. EKGs, echo, holter monitor all normal. Regular blood work good except for high triglycerides. I also have hypothyroid I take medicine for that's normal now and that's it. I had a nerve conduction test and was told its small fiber neuropathy but I'm not buying it.

Any advice please? It's been chronic for the last year and I feel terrible.

Thank you.

I'd like to add I had mild numbness in shins, forearms, and right side of face as well.

Not sure if Britain has lyme disease caused by ticks, but it is getting quite common here in Canada.  It is just a simple blood test, so ask your dr. for the test and rule that one out. Lyme symptoms are worth looking up to see what you think. Hopefully someone else here has some ideas for you.  Certainly sounds like you have a lot of the same symptoms as fibromyalgia.  Take Care
