PMR and FIBROMYALGIA

i would like to know if anyone that has PMR also been diagnosed with FIBROMYALGIA, i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in october 2012.

    Thank you for that - I am returning within a week and I think he was going to reduce it by 2.5 as the instructions he brought up on the screen stated I should only be on the higher level for 3 weeks and then reduce. I will pass these comments to him. Thank you.

    Hi there, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2011 even though I think I have had it for 27 years. I have this week been diagnosed with poly myalgia

      This is a VERY old discussion and there are a lot of people who won't see your post and a lot of people in this discussion are no longer on the forum - I suggest you start a new thread if you want comments.

    Hello, Canada here. I see this is an old post but I will respond anywyas.

    I have both and have had for several years. Every 9months or so I wean off prednisone for 3-6months and then have to go back on. Usually the PMR is

    wild by then and inflammation rates high.

    Its unpleasant to say the least.

    Today my legs and hips are driving me nuts!

    Try to remain positive, your doc is looking out for your best interest.
