PMR and GCA

Since my last flare up and the increase of my Pred from 19mh slowly adjusting to 20 mg and now 21 MG I notice an increase of appetite as it would be expected to happen.

I eat or drink something - a tea, or fruit in between meals as my doc told me to.

It helps.

I exercise daily and feel great for doing so.

I have GCA no pain though.

My questao - how has been your experience on the increase of the Pred ?

I was unfortunate to have a negative experience with pred.  It gave me the worst case of restless legs ever and I was up for days and nights-about a week until it got out of my system.  I had a msaller dose and barely tlerated it-felt hyper and my legs were sort of feeling a bit odd and then when he increased it wham!  awful.  I had the same reaction with mood swings when I got spinal injections.  I'd cry for no reason!  Also my legs felt like electricity was circling around them.  I will never have this again-ever

That's the way it shows we are all the way different so we must observe our symptoms, the response of our system and to do accordingly.

It' s not a size fits all.

I sincerely wish you find the correct road that will work for you!

      Take care
