I had a torn cornea repaired with Pneumatic retinopexy. It's still healing but expect a full recovery. I think I tore it sparring but only very lightly. If I did does the injury come from being hit in the eye or the head in general? I don't plan on sparring for some time but am wondering for the future and would get appropriate head gear with eye protection.
