One season I had it a couple times, but walking pneumonia.  Are you on bilogicals?  It reduces your immunity.  Some aree more agressive tha others.  If your blood counts get too low, there is something called erythropoetin that can be given to get your bone marrow to produce more cells.  The marrow can be suppressed by RA medication over time.

    p. can be serious. It can leave small adhesions on your lungs. Plz see your dr about the P. Immunizations to protect yourself from this disease.

Being in the hospital is really depressing. Stay well my friends and eat and drink plenty of healthy fluids. Hope all is well.

    Peace & Heeling

      hi Shirlee.

just read your post, im 53 and an RA sufferer. I have flu jab every year. ive repeatedly asked for pneumonia jab but my doctors surgery refuses. do you know if this is common or not.

      many thanks ivan.

I wonder why your surgery are refusing to give you the jab Ivan.  It's only necessary to have one every ten years and our doctors are more than happy to give it to anyone with an illness that effects the immune system.

What can you do, get well soon Tony, or as well as you can get, it definitely takes a certain mindset coping with chronic health problems, I nearly used more colourful language there.

Sorry to hear you have been sick Tony. Take care of yourself. Seems like you have lots of stress in your life which makes everything worse. I will keep you in my prayers. Put yourself first for a while and see if it helps. Feel better soon!  Kristin
