Poll: How long it took you until you could stop using diapers after hemorrhoidectomy

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi, i'm six weeks after hemorrhoidectomy (btw, the biggest mistake in my life), pain and bleeding are manageable, even after BM, but the discharges (I don't even want to know what they are) in the area are still extremely bad so I still need to wear diapers all the time.

I wanted to see how long it took to other people after this operation.

Thanks.

    Hi Daniel

Did you consider doing the HAL surgery?

I did it 3 weeks ago and I'm starting to feel me again.. The symptoms are fading away slowly each and every day now.

around 3 months you'll be at a better place, and having Hemmerectomy is the best thing you ever did not the worst, stay hydrated eat the right foods and use shower wind after bowel movement, I know it's a rough road, but when you heal up from surgery your gonna wish you did sooner cause the rest of your life your gonna be pain free down there, hang in there, the worst is over...

I stopped wearing them after 2 weeks! They gave me an odor as no air was getting down there that led into an infection.

I would stop wearing them, allow the area to heal

the surgury isnt a mistake just need time to heal.

I said the same thing but I am going back to have another surgury done to remove 1 last hemorrhoid.

You need to keep the area clean, use vasilen, bath more with just warm water no Saltz.

stop wearing them if you have yellow discharge may be from an infection.
