I'm having a procedure to remove polyps under g/a and am worried I've never been under before , we are doing this to try for another baby as we have been trying for 14 years since our first child with no luck. the issue is Im still bleeding even tho the doctor have given me traxenamic acid to reduce my periods will they still go ahead with the removal of the polyps on the day please help

Hi Stacy , i have had polyps was schedule for removal but due to the pandemic it was postponed my gyn told me even im on my period she can do the removal but one night i had super heavy bleeding very scary one when i went to bath room it came out like clots the whole night i was going back and forth then i had ultrasound done there was no more polyps so what i want to say is they can do the procedure even you are bleeding ( period ) Good Luck !

hi Stacey I had a hysteroscopy a few months ago. It feel like period pains when the remove it. To my much delight I've had another reappear! have to do it again hence again heavy clotted periods! Not sure why they keep coming back. The medication you take works for me but it gives me stomach issues so may have to put the mirena coil in.
Don't worry it's a quick procedure
