Pompholyx helpful tip.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

As a sufferer of pompholyx for the past 14 years. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of.

Mine is triggered during the Spring months of April and May, when my hands itch like crazy, with the tell tale signs of tiny blisters. Rest of the year - no problems.

Anyway in anticipation of another outbreak, I bought myself a small tub of Vaseline petroleum jelly this March.

After applying a few small dots of the jelly to each of the palms of my hands, and rubbing them together twice a day, everyday, I can report that I have not needed to use Betnovate steroid cream at all this year. My hands have hardly itched, the tiny blisters have remained under control.

I know that my pompholyx may have not been as severe this year, so the Vaseline usage could have been a coincidence. However, it is worth trying, as there's nothing more irritating than itchy eczema. And a small tub of Vaseline Jelly is quite a cheap product.

When using Vaseline, try a little bit at first, then you can always add a little more if needs be.

Hope it works for you.
