Poor sleep pattern/horrible dreams.

Dear all.
Problems sleeping,standard for me is one hours sleep go to bed about twelve but am awake by one.
After getting up i do get two or three hours.
My main problem is awful dreams,in which i actually feel very depressed(in dream),but wake up feeling very very low.
Note.I feel ok the next day,but these dreams make me want to stay up ,all night?!
can anyone help,or give me some advice.?
