PORTAL VEIN EMBOLISM ANYONE WITH INFO.?

I was diagnosed with portal vein embolism yesterday after a CT scan of my bloated abdomen. Started shots to tummy yesterday, will have to do twice a day. That proved easier to do than I thought it would.

Anyone else have the hugely bloated belly? Since I am new to this, anyone with experience and some input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Yes Iam bloated, with me it is my medications I have to take.

    My Wife Hazel says I am getting to fat.

    Fortunately for you, my patient, who I am seeing tonight was a pioneer in this very subject, so I shall ask him. Get back to you tomorrow. Are the shots anticoagulants?

      Yep. They told me what to watch out for in the area of bleeding.
