Positive ANA

Hi there has anyone been told they have a positive ANA. Mine was 1.160 homogeneous titre. With thyroid peroxidase antibodies >1000 cam anyone shed any light on what this might mean?

Yes.. I myself have a positive ANA and have Hashimoto's disease just as you do. The positive ANA sounds to be most likely caused by the Hashimoto's, as I have read somewhere, sorry we are not allowed to post links, that Hashimoto's itself can cause a positive ANA.
