Positive for herpes type 2

Hi I got diagnosed 2 years ago I went on supressant therapy about 3 months ago and not had an out break. I get a lot of nerve pain in my back legs and down there but not had an actual breakout since taking the tablets. Alls my breakouts in the past have been inside the vagina in the same spot. Anyway my question is does anyone get there's in different places? I've recently noticed a lump on the outside so new place and it's not like any outbreak I've had before. So not sure if it's through shaving? I've had no tingling or nerve pain and it's just a red hard lump no blister or anything and it's only tender if I touch it, where normally I'm in agony with it. the skin isn't broken but the lump is quite large. Could this be an outbreak?

How often did you use to have outbreaks before ?

I'd say once a month for the first 12 months then every two months after that that's why I went on the supressant therapy plus I got into a new relationship and wanted to keep the risk down for him. I told him before we slept together and he's aware of the risks but I still have anxiety about giving it him, specially now with this lump that's just come out as we recently had sex as I didn't get any of my usual symptoms that come before an outbreak. Just got to hope for the best.

I’m not in much pain but I’m tryong to prevent blistering and taking control of the outbreak before it gets worse .
