Positive IGM HSV1 , Negative IGG HSV1, do I have herpes?

My ex boyfriend had genital herpes HSV2 which I didn't know about after two months of being broken up (He found out later). I decided to get tested and so I tested positive for HSV1 IGM and negative HSV2 IGM. I was in shock since I thought I was going to have HSV2 but relieved it was only HSV1. None of my partners had HSV1 so I thought I caught it from a kiss. I hadn't shown any symptoms and thought I should get re-tested.

After 4 months I took the IGG test type specific and was negative for both HSV1 and HSV2. I haven't shown any symptoms and I don't remember ever having a cold sore.

I am confused as to whether I have herpes or not. Should I get re-tested?

Do I tell my future partner I might get  "cold sores" although I haven't had any symptoms and I am not sure I even have it? And if so do I say it before we kiss? It seems a little odd.
