Hi, yes I have and now on a regular dose of 60mg...it does take time so bare with it unless side effects are too bad and increase if you need to to get the effect and then slowly taper down to a sustainable level. It's very different from Prozac and drug use for a long period is not the answer! once you start feeling more positive do things in your life that make you happy and get out and exercise, socialise, don't let stress get the better of you and you will get better even though it might not seem like it now :-) let me know how you get on and good luck with it all! it is very difficult to reduce the drugs but not impossible and 1 day I'll be drug free or who knows...don't rush it I say! it's very hard and a battle I'll have to continue fighting the rest of my life I think.

      Thanks for the reply.

I don't really get any side effects any more did on days 4 and 5 but nothing since, praps a bit of a dry mouth but that's nothing major.

I agree things do take time especially when it comes to anti d meds as they take a while to get a good level in your system. I have been on a few but I am quite sensitive to them so I have to take things slow when increasing.

Hi Aaron. Yes I've had great success on cymbalta/duloxetine. Over ten years, for anxiety and panic. 60mg then and now 30mg with .50 of ativan twice daily. Went off it last fall due to combo of 100mg wellbutrin to calm, but has years went by it affected vision. Was going to switch but very huge mistake as I'm extremely med sensitivity and the less the better. I tried and had many bad experiences in past on others. Cymbalta has no side affects for me and I switched over from effexor xr no problem. This gives me clear mind, focus and functioning at a high level. No other med did that. So I'm staying on cymbalta but since I was off several I must start back at 30mg. I'm fine it gave me my life back.

I have been having a hard time finding good reviews on Cymbalta. I have been on 120mg for almost 3 years. I saw you said you went from 60mg to 30mg... how did you do this? And was there any withdrawals? I have heard withdrawals are awful for this drug. Is this drug still working for you? How long have you been on it now? I need some reassurance. I am afraid of being on this drug now from hearing so many bad things.

Hi there I have been on Cymbalta 30mg now for 17 days.  I also take Clon 3 times a day as I was on Remeron for 8 months prior which did not help me with my anxiety and needed both.  I have found that the Cymbalta does releive some of the anbxiety and hoping that when I go back to my PDoc we will be reducing the clon.  I have up and down days but it is still early as Tryingagain said it needs to build in your system.  I find that some days my head feels spacey.  Does anyone else get this.  I am very med sensitive like Totallytiffy1and had severe effects from most SSRI and Cymbalta so far does not seem to be too bad.  Hoping it continues.  How long before you start having more engery and better quality of sleep?
