Positives please 😓

The past few days have been absaloutly Brutal with anxiety and maybe a little depression on and off.

6weeks on 20mg for the 2nd time

if anyone could send some hope this way that things will get better and it took you longer than 6 weeks to feel any improvement that would be amazing x

I feel like I'm worse than before I started them the past few days and my anxiety is ridiculously high.

need something to keep me going x thanks guys, sorry to keep posting but I'm really worried I'm never going to get better at all.

    also a few people have said to me that 6 weeks I should have seen a little improvement by now too.

    I know this isn't always the case but worried me anyway x

    Hi Potatoghost. I'm sorry to hear you're having a difficult time at the moment. Just keep in your head that they worked once before so they will work again. This time it may take a little longer as your body and mind has probably changed a lot since last you was on them.

    The problem with anxiety and worry is it fuels itself. So you worry about not becoming better and youre not better because your worrying.

    Are you doing anything to help the process like exercising, eating the right foods, taking some vitamin D, going for walks.

    I found by week 8 I started to feel better, not good but good enough to get me out of bed and start helping myself to feel better.

    Just be kind to yourself and take each day as it comes. Just keep saying to yourself that everyday is a new day for me to become better.

      I didn't realise that it could take longer because of that.

      now that you mention it my anxiety feels a lot different than it has in the past before I recovered last time πŸ€”

      I'm struggling a lot with physical activities due to dizzyness but I'm making sure that I get out atleast once or twice a day for a brisk walk.

      oh yes definitely fueled by worrying x I've been worrying a lot about so many different things that previously my anxiety wouldn't latch onto and it changes daily sometimes πŸ™„

      mainly about my brainfog that its permanent and I find that worrying x

      is vitamin d helpful? I've not been told much about how it can help to be honest so thank for suggesting that also.

      8 weeks! 8 weeks! hopefully by then I will have improved enough to see a light st the end of the tunnel and be able to start seeing improvements then I'll know I'm on the right path x thank you for replying 😊

      did you find you hadn't improved much by 6 weeks? I feel ablittle worse if anything than before starting but hoping I turn a corner soon x

    Took me a LOT longer than 6 weeks and increasing to 30 didnt help me Keep going Youre not crazy!!! It just takes SO long!!
