Possibility of having GERD?

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have not been diagnosed with GERD yet but I worry that I have many of the symptoms.

I've been having consistent heartburn/chest pain,

gas and the feeling of needing to burp (without being able to),

nausea,

migraines and tension headaches,

'fluffy' stool with notable mucus,

a knot feeling in my throat after eating,

brain fog.

I've had tons of bloodwork done and my levels were good. An MRI of my head that was normal. And chest + abdominal radiographs that showed a ton of gas.

However, Gas-x barely touches it. Everything I eat beats me down: chicken breast, white/brown rice, plain toast, broccoli, romaine lettuce, apples, peanut butter. I don't even touch dairy anymore thinking I might be lactose intolerant. But everything makes me sick. I feel nauseous and bloated after three bites of anything. I only drink water- no coffee, no tea, no soda. I'm at a loss.
