Possible acute bacterial prostitis

Hello, can anyone please help.

I have had a swift onset of acute pain in my perinium. It has also given me like very bad chills and I also feel very very unwell. I have no apitiet at all and can’t sleep.

There was no sign of infection before this did happened and no burning pee or noticeable discharge from my penis. It did hurt to sit for anything over 5min but was relieved if I stood up or sat on the toilet. Perineum pain and rip of penis pain both went away if I stood or sat on toilet.

I was on a long course of Amoxicillin and Metronidazole for an ear infection before hand. I have also started excercising heavily. (Not cycling)

Can anyone please help as I’m sure I may have an sti or something. Could something else have caused this. Can anyone give me some more info please.  Help!! I’m a total mess.

    Hi Craig,

Get to your doctor ASAP. It could be acute prostatitis, which is easily treated, and nothing to worry about but it’s important to get treatment .

Thanks dc but I’m worried it’s an sti

I can’t see any symptoms like puss or burning pee or any discharge. Would I have to have noticed an sti infection before this happened?
