Possible anxiety

I keep having random heart palpitations, chest pain left outer arm pain lower arm pain, tingly feeling in mostly left but both hands, dizziness and just a horrible uneasy feeling in my chest and throat. Does this sound like anxiety? Been having this for a few years now, thanks in advance

Always go and get an exam with the doctor and then let the doctor diagnose you.

Hi Mathew , this does sound like anxiety to me. As a sufferer myself I have all these symptoms too, I often feel like I have a golf ball in my throat , I always have chest pains. Sometimes I clench my hand without even realising which results in my forearms aching etc.

Maybe a trip to the doctor wouldn't hurt to check out your vitals and once they all check out fine then have a chat about your concerns.

    Hope this helps.

This sounds like anxiety to me, but always good to see a Dr. I found some help with a book titled The 10 Best-Ever Anxiety Management Techniques.

    Hi Mathre,

Although this certainly sounds like anxiety, you would feel more relaxed if you saw your doctor and had some tests done. If the tests are normal, then you can start to think about managing your anxiety.

But you're not at that point yet. It's really important that you see your doctor. Keep letting us know how you're doing. Love Tess

This sounds like my daily life.. Have physical illnesses been ruled out? I'm assuming yes since it's been going on for years? If not just be checked out to be on the safe side.. Sounds like anxiety tho

I have been to my gp had an heart scan stress test and multiple 24 hour tapes and ecg they say my heart is perfectly fine and health, I have a physically demanding job but when I get home I sit for several hours and I feel like all the sitting could be bad for me

In that case, I'm glad to read that you haven't got a heart problem. Have you been offered any medication or therapy to help with the anxiety?

Sitting is only bad for you if you're overweight and do no exercise. If you have a physically demanding job, you're clearly getting plenty of exercise at work. Keep in touch so that we can try to help you some more       Love Tess

if all your tests are fine I would say it sounds like anxiety and stress like you I have had heart monitors ecg bloods and routine tests anxiety causes many many symptons from palpatations missing heart beats sweating nausea chest and body pain a ball like feeling in my throat. have a word with your gp to see if and what treatment you need to help you. I also now drink chamomile tea a couple times a day i have cut right back on coffee and very rarely do i drink fizzy drinks these two will cause palpataions but the chamomile tea helps to calm you down
