Possible AVN at 30 years old?

Hello,
This past October, I went to a concert and experienced what I thought was a lower back injury. i had some sciatica symptoms and the pain was pretty severe down my leg and in my buttocks and lower back for a couple of weeks. The pain improved but still comes and goes and i still cannot walk any reasonable distance at a time. At max, I can walk a total of ten minutes before the shooting pain kicks in and my leg almost gives out on me and i end up defeated and hobble home.
I have been stretching, doing my PT exercises, have had a shot in my SI joint and an MRI on my lumbar spine. Nothing has provided me with any answers.
I know that resting helps it. and that the pain is very much localized in my hip. My buttocks, groin, hamstring and knee also feel it especially if its bad.
The pain pattern seems to be cyclical. I think Im getting better, so I push a little harder and the pain comes back.
I had a fall exactly a year prior to when i began feeling the pain in my hip. It was on my left side and it left me with a radical bruise on my left glute. I didnt think much of it. I could still walk and do everything I needed to do. But now I cant help but wonder. These symptoms seem very consistent with a possible AVA diagnosis but im wondering, would an injury a year prior cause this? could scar tissue be occluding some oxygen supply in my hip? Does anyone have similar stories?
MRIs are tricky and i have already spent so much money on treatment. I would hate to have to get another one. So Im looking for advice.
Thank You,
Danielle

It's hard to say but it might not be AVA it could be some other kind of hip problem. Just logically, if it gets worse with walking, then it might be to do with the weight bearing joints like ur actual ball and socket hip joint rather than the SI joint? IDK. I have had a very similar kind of pain for the last 6 years and didn't want to get MRIs or anything because of cost, but recently I just got an xray on my hip - which is quite a bit cheaper - and this showed up a very obvious problem which was pretty bad OA, but also there's lots of bone spurs and impingements which are causing a lot of problems. So don't leave it too long before you bite the bullet and get more scans like I did! Maybe in the hip joint this time rather than the spinal area?
Anyway, after the initial shock of my diagnosis subsided - lols! I now know how to avoid doing things to aggravate it so it's definitely worth finding out exactly what it is. I am going to try a hip brace to see if that helps. I found that those compression leggings REALLY helped the pain quite a lot so I am going to try a hip brace as well and see how that goes.
