possible band slip

Can anyone help. Iv had band since last august and doing great lost 3 stone. Ate scrambled egg last monday in a hotel and think i got food poisioning. Was violently ill for 2 hours afterwards. Threw up alot at beginning but then constant wretching. Since this happened iv had very little restriction. Waiting for appointment now to go to see if my band has slipped!!! Does anyone know if this is a possibilty with being sick ??

    HI - sorry to hear of this - and yes it is possible for slippage to occur with vomitting so it is good that you are getting it checked out to see what the situation is - good luck

      Thanks. Appointment tomorrow at 3 so fingers crossed alls ok

      Everything ok with xrays so thankfully no damage done

    thats good news and will set your mind at rest - i wonder if things are just a bit tender with the wretching and maybe you will need to follow a liquid diet for a while in order to let things heal and get back to normal - did they say what wa the matter at the clinic or offer any advice??

      No they just checked band was in place and said things look ok. It seemed like i had very little restriction since i was sick but maybe liquids would be a good idea for a while to let things settle
