My Dr thinks I have fibromyalgia but I'm not sure does anyone recognise these symptoms. I'm tired I get pain in my back knees hips wrist my back pain is only bad when I sit down and all other pain is either when I'm In the same position for a while or when I repeat an action. I get shooting pains all over. I just don't know what to do a month ago I was doing 8 gym classes a week now I'm doin nothing and the pain is getting worse

Sorry you are feeling bad! It's absolutely rotten, I know! yes, all your pains could be caused by fibro. When I was first diagnose about seven or eight years ago, I described it as all over pain-like old age growing pains! I notice that my latest problems which have gone on since February, are worse , and almost seem to be set off by sitting! makes me think a nerve is pinching somewhere. If you have good insurance you might think about seeing a chiropractor. Sadly, at 66 on fixed income I have only Medicare in USA. Doesn't pay for anything they term a specialist. So I have one doctor. Nice guy, but don't think he knows much! Best of luck and check back in, I haven't been here long, but everyone seems very nice!

Hello 👋
Sorry you are feeling so bad. I have what the drs said that I have a severe case of fibromyalgia they said some patients get it very bad. Plus I have osteoarthritis working against the fibromyalgia so pain is my 1st name. I’ve been to chiropractor to having trigger point injections .... from cymbalta to Mobic to ibuprofens to all kinds of anti inflammatory meds to now on highest dose of Lyrica, one to two muscle relaxer up to three times a day and hydracodone and Effexor 3 tablet a day. It’s very frustrating but my drs are sensitive to me about it and they are trying hard to get me comfortable. Or at least take the edge off. I had to stop working last year. I have a lawyer who specializes in fibromyalgia cases for disability. My supervisor came to me and saw the constant pain I was in and said I think it’s time for you to stop working. I worked in a drs office at the time. I have no energy and severe fatigue but I try to stay positive . Hang on in there we know what you are going through.
