Possible GBS????

Really starting to troubleshoot my symptoms.

So.. about 25 years ago, I was injured in an accident and broke my neck. 2 years later, I started having a lot of numbness and weakness. I ended up having a spinal fusion for a disc herniation. The fusion did not take and i had to have revision surgery about 8 years ago. The plate had come out. In the meantime, during those 18 years in between the initial injury, I began having a lot more weakness and numbness in my arms, hands, legs, feet. Specificallu, I developed drop foot. The symptoms seem to get worse at times, but eventually subside to a bit. Every time I would go to the doctor, they would assess my cervical spine and pretty much only look there. I started to lose hope. I do have a degenderative condition at L4/L5. In recent months after a bout of covid, I have developed severe bilateral foot drop and pain in both legs and hips. I still have issues with incontinence, which has persisted for 25 years. My hands and arms are struggling also.

I'm really starting to feel they may be looking up the wrong tree. Is it possible that I could have have GBS way back 25 years ago? Is it possible these ups and downs are possibly GBS and I'm going through a phase right now that is making it really hard to function?
