Possible hematidrosis? (Blood from pores)

Posted , 2 users are following.

My husband sometimes gets a random bleeding episode from different parts of his forehead. They do not occur very often, and he sometimes reports feeling stressed around this time. The blood pours uncontrollably, and there is no injury or cut. It seems to just come from his pores in a random manner, and stops when it wants to. He can go months without it occurring, and then he might get a few attacks a week, or just one. I realise hematidrosis is extremely rare, I was wondering if anyone has any experience or advice?

Hi!Sorry to hear about your husband's problem. As hematidrosis is a rare condition i will write down what my books say.It is basicly sweating blood. The blood vessels that feed the sweat glands burst, causing the glands to release the blood. It is enduced by stress and anxiety.I suggest your husband visits a dermatologist.

    Best of luck!
