Possible Herpes?

I'm not sure if my picture will post but over the past 4 days, I've been experiencing vaginal itching and burning. I recently recognized that I had, what seems like, a bad yeast infection. I also noticed what looked like a clear blister in my vagina. I immediately started to panic because my boyfriend was tested in October and had a positive test for Herpes. His doctor told him it may be a false positive and to re-test. Unfortunately, he's just going to get tested again this weekend. Meanwhile, that blister now has a small black mark under it. How likely is it that I'm infected?

Unfortunately, I have been having problems viewing images of late and I don't know why. rolleyes Regarding your bf, however, how was he tested? Swab or by blood, and if by blood, was it the IgG or IgM test for herpes and what was his score? Might be able to shed some light there.

I don't know how to post pics at all.. maybe you can help??? But it was apart of his bloodwork, they simply said it was positive and could be a false positive. I'm assuming he was to be retested and that is when all those scores and levels will come into play?

If he was blood tested, he should have that information on his lab report.

Yup, I asked him. His igg score was 3.49 back in October.

Was that for HSV1 or HSV2? If he was tested for both, what was the other type's score?

His HSV2 was the only one with a score, he was tested and doesn't have HSV1

If he genuinely doesn't have HSV1, then his HSV2 result is unlikely false.
