So I've been having unprotected sex with a new partner since April. About a couple of days, i noticed a breakout. Granted, I have shaved and naired my vagina. I went to the dr on saturday and he said it didnt look like herpes to him. i am so disappointed in myself for even having unprotected sex and risking my health. Do you guys think this a herp outbreak?

So I just came back from the free clinic and the obgyn said it looks like herpes. I get my results from bloodwork on friday, but my culture swab results back in 10 days. I was given medicine "just in case"

It does look like herpes, so good that you had the swab done to confirm one way or another. If it is herpes, you now have a virus that the vast majority of the entire world has in one form/strain or another.

Be careful and diligent with your heath, but nothing good comes from beating yourself up. If it is herpes, it's important to know which type, always disclose with new partners, and live your life like this is no big deal, because it's not!
