Possible HS ?!

i have lumps and bumps on my armpits and groin area (occasionally the actual cuff of the vagina) and they are reoccuring, flaring up then calming repeatedly. i have had antibiotics, used hibbiscrub every time i wash since decemeber and no improvement. sometimes they itch or hurt and they seem to develop in the same place . i have stopped using razors as a precaution but it makes no difference ! i have attached photos of both armpits (one is worse than the other) does this sound or look like HS and if so would do i do about it ?

hi ,
it definately looks like and sounds like Hs to me , you need to see a dermatolagist to confirm and get treatment . tbf it looks like its in the early stages and you dont gave tracks yet , hopefully a good strong anti biotic can help , im currently on adalamabub which is helping .
good luck

i have stage 3 in my vagina area which has spread around to my buttocks i was on antibiotics for over three years , alot of which gave me some short term relief but never lasted for more than 3-6 months , eventually it got so bad i just wanted to end it all , it was affecting my life so much , no relationship the pain , the leaking everything it just ruled my life.
my dermatologist then tried me on ertapenum an antibiotic which was given by myself through a midline in the arm all administered by myself. however this can only be taken for around 6 week but it was amazing , but once that finished the symptoms came back.
now though i have a self injecting pen which is long term and amazing results , the scarring is yet to be dealt with but i am more optimistic.
I know its a long journey but stick with it and youll find whats best for you.

Sounds and looks like HS. I had the unroofing procedure for both my armpits where the removed the skin tissue from affected area, i had stage 2 HS. I haven't had an outbreak since the procedure 6-7 months ago. Fingers crossed.

So sorry to hear about your challenge. I concur it looks and sounds like it and that you need to see a dermatologist who specializes in HS. Most of them have never heard of it, and if they have it's not something they come across often so they tend to prescribe all sorts of things as per textbook. But we are all so unique so there's no cookie cutter treatment. All the best!
