Possible lymphoma?

Hello,

Okay so I've been sick for over a year. Just a general ill feeling. I found a lump in the right side of my neck about 4 months ago and recently found a little lump above my right collar bone. I have been extremely tired and have had a sensitivity to alcohol. I have done some blood tests and all have ce back normal. I have occasional tachycardia.. Doc is about to put me on a beta blocker. Chest pain and shortness of breathe have been some symptoms. I also lost about ten pounds but have almost gained all of that back so that's good. Oh and I'm a 19 year old female and weigh about 97 pounds! Any ideas as what this could be?

Thanks!

Hi, don't want to pretend I can diagnose your symproms, Lauren. Just want to mention that I kept having chest pains, and lots of runny nose, thought it was allergies. The chest pains were there for a year. The cardiologist said, "It's not your heart." Then, I startedta king claritin for allergies. The chest pains went away. I believe I had a sinus infection/allergies  at the same time. It went to my lungs.

i took Tussin DM cough syrup. Still taking claritin. Good luck with your diagnosis.

Hi, Lauren. I don't know if you've seen your doctor since I lasted posted. However, He should look for some type of infection, possibly Mono. You are the age when this happens. He could take a CBC. Complete blood test. T hat's the best way. Also, he could take a throat swab. If he hasn't done these things, you need to ask. I often get results when I ask my doctor. Blood tests aren't expensive, Please do it.

Hi Lauren, I have to mention that I hadch est pain for aye ar, And only realized it was caused by my lungs. I started taking claritin for allergies, and the chest pain went away. Are you allergic to pollutants? I walk outside and feel I'm allergic to the car exhaust in the air. We have a lot of it in Carona, California.

I'm not allergic but that could be a big possibility! But what would cause my rapid heart rate, weight loss, and extreme fatigue? I've had the fatigue for a year now and it really cuts into my school work

Hi Lauren. your doctor took a blood test, but what did he test for? Maybe he didn't do a complete blood test which would tell you more? Sometimes they just test for one thing. Ask him that question. Also, sometimes the things we eat can cause rapid heartbeat. I was fond of black licorice, and found out online, that it causes rapid heartbeat. If you are snacking on something, or taking diet pills, sometimes they will do that too. Look it up online. Some meds to lower cholesterol will cause rapid heartbeat.
