Possible Lymphoma?

Hello!
I'm a 22 year old male in good health, however an ultrasound scan initially checking for a hernia 3.5 months ago showed that i have an enlarged spleen (14.7cm), at that time i was unaware of any lymph node abnormalities and blood work was all normal. I was reffered to a haemotologist who has done another ultrasound scan recently which i'm still awaiting results for aswell as another blood test including testing for blood born viruses - also awaiting results. I first noticed i had an enlarged Auxillary lymph node about 1 month ago. At the time over the course of a week i had tender nodes in my neck and VERY painful Auxillary nodes under both armpits, so much so that having my arms by my sides hurt as it put pressure on them. The neck and right armpit nodes have since gone away however i'm left with a hard roughly 1cm painless lymph node in my left armpit. It moves around a little bit when pushed but doesn't seem to have too far to go! Also, i can feel other soft tiny lymph nodes close by it, they arent stuck together or to the 1cm node but sort of squish out of the way when i push up to the 1cm lymph node with my finger. My GP has just put me down for another set of blood tests. I'm a bit worried about lymphoma, but i'm guessing the fact it was super painful upon discovery is good right? I have none of the other Lymphoma related symptoms such as sweats, itching etc. Thanks for reading, any ideas as to the cause are much appreciated!

I'm new to this forum thing, but thought I would check a few out. I'm also stressing out, although my symptoms seem different to yours - swollen glands in my neck since before christmas, fairly regular drenching night sweats and really painful itchiness on my right side - particularly after drinking alcohol, but no rash to be seen! I'm also having trouble taking deep breaths (sounds random!) I have been to the doctor, and have blood tests and a chest xray on 8th April...she mentioned hodgkins and that she wanted to rule it out...im hoping it is an allergy! Please let me know what happened with you

Firt things first well done for going to see your doctor about your symptoms. You wouldn't believe the number of people that are really worried but don't!
So my main symptoms were the large spleen and an armpit node that was quite large for no apparent reason (no colds, flu's, infections, local injuries etc). My axillary node slowly went down on its own, now under 1cm but can still feel it. I must have had at least five blood tests by now all of which have come back normal. Some have been pretty advanced tests aswell. My scans of which i've now had two have shown by spleen to be getting smaller, it was 14.7cm now a few months later its 14.1cm, i have another precautionary scan in July some time coupled with another blood test but my Haemotologist has told me that he's really confident i don't have Lymphoma, just a big spleen!
So fingers crossed you only have an allergy! The chances of Lymphoma being the cause are small despite your symptoms. It's good your docs on the case anyway so if it is something like lymphoma it can be sorted! Any illnesses/inections to account for your swollen glands? Also, do they fit the description of potentially lymphoma nodes (non-movable, bigger than 1.5cm although many healthy nodes surpass that size in response too one thing or another, matted together with other nodes)?
I'm sure you'll be fine! Try not to worry too much, let me know how it goes!
